New Skoda Superb has recently launched its new generation Skoda Superb in the Indian market, showcasing it globally. The design of the Skoda Superb introduces fresh elements alongside its traditional grille. While it will be presented in sedan form for the Indian market, it will be available in both sedan and combi (wagon) forms for European markets. Additional highlights include Smart Dial, head-up display, automatic climate control, air purifier, wireless mobile charging, height-adjustable driver seat with ventilated seats, massage function for front seats, ambient lighting with 64 color options, USB Type-C charger for rear passengers, and a panoramic sunroof.

For safety, the company has equipped the Superb with 10 airbags, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring system, hill hold assist, descent control, 360-degree camera, reverse parking sensors, and ISOFIX child seat anchors. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) include automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, front and rear collision prevention, rear cross-traffic alert, and traffic jam assist.

The plug-in hybrid variant claims an electric range of 100 kilometers with a 25.7 kWh battery pack. It supports fast charging with a 50 kW DC fast charger. However, for the Indian market, the company plans to launch only the turbo petrol engine, with no confirmation on the plug-in hybrid variant.
