Hyundai Exter Competition New 01, Purchase

Hyundai Motor has increased the prices of its compact SUV Exter for the first time in the Indian market. Launched in July 2023, Hyundai Exter has witnessed its first price hike since its introduction. Hyundai Exter competes directly with Tata Punch in the Indian market.

01-Hyundai Exter New Price List in India:

The old prices for Hyundai Exter in the Indian market ranged from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10.10 lakh ex-showroom. However, the new prices now start at ₹6 lakh and go up to ₹10.15 lakh ex-showroom. The highest price increase is seen in the Connect DT variant, which has gone up by ₹16,000. Below is the detailed information about the price changes:

02-Hyundai Exter Variant and Colors

Hyundai Exter is available in five variants in the Indian market: EX, S, SX, SX(O), and SX(O) CONNECT. It comes with dual-tone and monochrome color options. The dual-tone options include Ranger Khaki with Abyss Black roof and Atlas White with Abyss Black roof. Other color options include Ranger Khaki, Starry Night, Fiery Red, Atlas White, and Titan Grey.

In terms of features, Hyundai comes with an 8-inch touch screen infotainment system, Airtel instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Other features include over 60 connected car technologies, cruise control, wireless mobile charging, automatic AC control, a single-pane sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, and front and rear dash cameras for recording.

Note: The dash camera feature is exclusive to Exter and some other Hyundai models.

04-Hyundai Safety Features

In terms of safety, Hyundai Exter is equipped with six airbags, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring system, rear parking sensors, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

05-Hyundai Exter Engine

Under the hood, Hyundai Exter is powered by a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 83 bhp and 114 Nm of torque. This engine is available with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT transmission. For CNG variants, the engine produces 69 bhp and 95 Nm of torque. The CNG version comes with a 5-speed manual transmission.

The CNG variant boasts the highest mileage of 27.1 kmpl, while the manual transmission offers a claimed mileage of 19.4 kmpl.
