The clash in the Mira Road area unfolded during a procession for the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Mandir on Sunday, where stones were hurled. Mumbai Police apprehended 13 individuals, and an FIR was lodged against unidentified suspects following multiple cases of outraging religious sentiments in the city.
As reported by PTI, the altercation occurred around 10:30 pm on Sunday when a group of 10 to 12 people in three cars and several motorcycles rallied from Naya Nagar, chanting slogans in praise of Lord Ram.
